My name is Kelly, I have two beautiful daughters who are my WORLD!

“The most AMAZING, breathtaking moment in my life was when I locked eyes for the first time with my newborn baby. The doctor placed her on my chest, she was so warm and beautiful. I was staring down at her in amazement and she looked up into my eyes. I can not compare it to anything. My entire view on life changed in an instant. From that moment forward, everything I did became about her (and a year later… about both my little sweeties). These two little girls  were angels from above. They have given me a purpose…a reason to push forward on even the hardest of days.”

 Lucky for me (and them) I am a full-time telecommuter for a Fortune 100 company. I am “present” in my kids lives.

I am passionate about education, the educational experiences, health and overall well-being of children. By overall well-being, I mean things like character education, anti-bullying, bullycide (the link between bullying and suicide) and building positive self-esteem and confidence. I also have a great interest in social media and it’s impact on children, education and business.

I created ParentUniversity (http://www.parentuniversity.org) in an effort to increase parent awareness and education on current issues and topics relevant to kids, parenting and families today. Additionally, it is my goal to have parents more involved in their kids lives and educational experiences.
